The time has come. American Horror Story has come to an end… for now. I apologize once again for missing another recap last week. I truly am horrible. The direction the season finale went in was totally and completely unexpected. I figured they would keep with the story and the entire episode would be based off all of the ghosts fighting over the baby. Don’t get me wrong, that happened, but very briefly. Instead, they introduced and dismissed a whole new family all in one episode.

The show starts with a quick flashback to Ben basically begging Vivien to move into the extremely low priced house with “personality” just nine months ago. Ironically, Vivien was totally against moving into the house. Imagine all of the trouble she could have saved if she would’ve fought a little hard… pft. And now we’re back to today. After the birth of Vivien’s two “children” and she was pronounced dead due to a loss of blood, Constance found a way to take away the baby that Tate fathered. Man, she is just so crazy. She even makes up a total bullshit story about where the baby could be to the police just so they don’t have to search around anymore. I mean, come on! Ben retrieves the baby from Constance and makes his way back into the house.

As we could all expect, Ben feels the need to kill himself in order to rejoin his family in eternity. Oh sure, after your daughter and wife are dead you decide to care. He almost goes through with blowing his brains out until Vivien and Violet show up and give him the speech we all expected them to. The baby needs Ben and Ben needs the baby. It all seemed good enough until Ben’s life was taken without his own consent. Hayden, the psychopath he once impregnated, comes back for her final revenge on Ben. She throws him over the balcony with a rope around his neck. I feel like this was a cheap way to get Ben to die. I mean, it’s nice that the Harmons can all be a family once again but I would’ve been much more satisfied if Ben got away and left them alone. We all could expect that he would be stuck in the house one way or another so in some ways I wish they would’ve went in the other direction. Oh well.

They’ve done it! American Horror Story has captured my full attention once again! For a week or two I was starting to shy away from the show, but last night’s twist totally got me in love again. No matter how bad I want to jump right into the twist, I’ll have to hold off until I explain everything else… there isn’t much. The whole show seemed to drag on a little last night up until about fifteen minutes or so before it ended.

Honestly, I wish they would put Constance away in an institution rather than Vivien. She is completely whacked out of her mind. Don’t the police and investigators see that everyone she is connected to has died? Granted, she hasn’t killed all of them, but she is definitely a man source. I mean, who shoots and grinds up their husband to feed to dogs?! That is just beyond disturbing. She didn’t even show Addy any true love her affection until she died. She is horrible, but I guess her character adds a lot to the show. Although Hayden was the one to murder Constance’s boy toy, for some reason Larry felt the need to say he did it in order to prevent Constance from going to jail. Yes, I know he loves her but still. I absolutely loved the scene where Larry had a chance to see his burned children and wife once again in the house. It was so heartfelt. His wife seemed to not want to have anything to do with Larry. For a second I thought he was going to find a way to get killed in the house in order to join them in eternity. That is until his wife completely told him off about him having an affair. That’s what he gets now I guess. Jail time.

Hello everybody (if anybody even still keeps up with this show)! Sorry I missed last week, I was busy working 12 hour shifts before and on Thanksgiving and all during break so I just didn’t have time to write last week! My apologies! I watched the episode today before the new one. Basically the only thing that came out of that episode is we discovered that Tate is actually the Rubber Man. Yes, he impregnated Vivien and did all those other horrible things. I mean, I guess it’s no surprise.

For some reason I’ve been finding myself becoming less and less interested in the show. Of course, I will continue to watch to see what happens, but I find it hard to get excited every Wednesday for the show to come on. Does anybody else feel this way? The story line has kind of gone off the wall a little bit and not in a good way. Tate being revealed as the Rubber Man was an unexpected, but good, twist. This week’s episode just didn’t do it for me though. I mean, Hayden is absolutely out of her mind. Seducing Constance’s boy toy and then killing him because he confessed his love for Constance. Get a grip Hayden! Then she teams up with Tate to kill even more people in the house to keep them there forever. That just doesn’t seem fair. I don’t know what her intentions are, but they don’t seem good.

This week’s episode was not action packed whatsoever. I was kind of disappointed in that, not going to lie! It actually made me question a lot of aspects of the show, so if I happen to ask questions throughout the recap it’s because I want to hear all of your opinions on the situation!

Basically the entire episode was based around trying to sell the house. Vivien and Ben want out and divorced as soon as possible, even though Violet actually likes the house and wants to stay. Well, obviously, her beloved Tate practically resides in the house and protects her from anyone and anything. For some crazy reason, Vivien wants to inform all of the potential buyers about the house’s history. I guess that’s a nice gesture of her, but who in their right mind would move in that evil house after hearing all of its history?! She decides to take the ghost tour that she once fled from to get the full story on the first owners. In a nut shell, the young couple’s baby was kidnapped and returned mangled and dead. The “surgeon” of a husband decided to keep his baby alive by reconstructing it using parts from two other little girls. As the mother is pleased to have her baby alive again, she soon finds that her baby is now evil and seeks blood. The mother attempts to kill the baby but fails and instead shoots her husband and then herself. Since the baby was never killed, I have reason to believe that the baby is still floating around the house. I think the baby grew up to be the demon guy in the black suit who impregnated Vivien.

As some of you may already know, last night’s episode was somewhat disturbing… luckily, we got to see guest star Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family last night! Of course, his character was nothing like that on Modern Family…he was completely whacked. Derek, a man completely terrified of urban legends, seeks out Ben for help. He is particularly scared of the “Piggy Man” legend of a butcher who killed pigs wearing a pig mask (cruel, huh?) only to be later killed himself. Has anyone ever seen the Saw movies? They kind of recreate this legend and I never knew that until last night. Interesting. We’ll get back to Derek a little later. I’m more concerned about Tate’s life…

So I guess all of my questions have been answered! Tate is a ghost who is back to haunt anyone and anything. The show flashes back and forth between 1994 and the present to display exactly how he was killed. Tate is being chased down by the SWAT team at his school. In this flashback, he is seeing the spirits of the students he previously murdered and continues to kill anyone who is in his way. I would NOT want to be a student at his high school! Later on in the episode, Tate is found by the SWAT team in his bedroom where he is held at gun point. He gestures to shoot himself in the head and continues by reaching for a pistol of his own…I think he really was going to kill himself instead of shooting for the SWAT, but who knows. Instead, he is completely blasted by several bullets. Since he dies in the house, his spirit lingers on and haunts people, including Violet. Violet is told by a medium, who Constance knows has a “gift”, that Violet needs to help Tate realize that he is actually dead because he has no idea. As anyone else probably would, she runs.

Is it just me, or is Glee’s episodes getting more and more cheesy every week? This is extremely disappointing seeing as how I absolutely love Glee. Seriously though, I don’t know if the actors are getting worse at acting, the script is just horribly written, or a combination of the two. I found myself chuckling a few times throughout the show because I just couldn’t take it seriously, but at the same time I was disappointed in all the wrong things they seemed to be promoting.

Let’s start with how they basically make it seem okay to use fake I.D.’s and underage drink at a club. Yes, of course thousands of teens do it everyday but that doesn’t mean they should televise it. When Blaine’s cute new Warbler friend suggests Kurt and Blaine go out to the club, I couldn’t believe Kurt agreed to it. Granted, Kurt was the designated driver, but it was still a poor demonstration of what teens in high school should look forward to. Maybe I’m being a little dramatic, but we all know for damn sure there’s a significant difference in the amount of fourteen year olds watching this show compared to anyone over twenty-one.

After last week’s episode, it is only necessary that this week’s episode has a lot of crazy shit go down! I mean, they are overdue on killing someone…I was so happy it picked up right where it left off. I hate those weird flashbacks or flash-forwards. They add unnecessary confusion! I was relieved to find that Violet was taken out on a “date” by Tate because last week led me to believe something much worse had happened. And what’s up with Ben grabbing a knife after he sees the girl he had an affair with outside? I mean, isn’t she dead already? It just doesn’t make sense… I also feel that Ben is starting to go crazy just like he was warned. You know, he’s going to go on some psycho rampage and start killing people left and right before we know it. It’s only a matter of time.

Hello, I’m Jenna! I know I’m not your normal Glee blogger, but I think I can fill the shoes! I have to warn you, I am a Gleek. So let’s get right to it! After weeks of delay due to baseball (gag) Glee is finally back! My Tuesday nights have been so boring lately. Seeing how an episode of Glee hasn’t aired in weeks, I expected this episode to be strong.

What better way than to have Damian McGinty, one of the finalists in The Glee Project, kick off the show! If you don’t know, Ryan Murphy wanted to find someone new to add to the show seeing how the originals can’t be on the show forever so he held a competition series called The Glee Project. There was only supposed to be one winner… but this isn’t real life. There were two winners, Damian and Samuel, who will be featured in seven or eight episodes while the other top three who will have a two episode spread. Damian is the cutest little Irish boy ever! Of course, the writers made him a foreign exchange student named Rory Flanagan who only wears green and immediately wants Brittany’s (who thinks he is a leprechaun) “Pot of Gold.” I found Rory’s first solo “It’s Not Easy Being Green” a little corny… I mean, didn’t Kermit the Frog sing that once? Like every other outsider-type (read: non-football player) at McKinley High, Rory gets bullied, but not slushied, and has no real friends….yet. However, he did well for himself at the end the episode by buddying up with Finn and auditioning for the Glee Club. I love his singing voice.

Seeing how Halloween is only a few days away, it was only appropriate that AHS did a Halloween episode … or more than one for that matter. A LOT went on during this episode so fair warning, this post is going to be a little extensive. Every new episode I watch, I get more and more confused. I really hope I’m not the only one. They spit out so much information and new people every episode that it messes with my mind more than the show already has. For example, the show kicks off with a gay couple living in the house in 2010. Is that supposed to be before or after Vivien, Ben, and Violet live there? The guys, Chad and Pat, are being festive and carving pumpkins. They happen to be in a fight too. They want to try to “flip the house” for Halloween so someone will actually want to buy it. The black demon guy comes into the house and Chad believes it’s Pat trying to be cute and dress up … just as though Vivien thought it was Ben and ended up getting pregnant with a demon baby. This guy is tricky. Anyway, he beats Chad up and it looks as though he drowns him. I’m not positive though because I looked away from the TV …

This past week I have been waiting for American Horror Story, as always! For some reason though I really found myself dozing off and getting distracted easily from the show. Maybe it was because there was not nearly as much screaming or violence as last episode, or maybe because the show is already starting to get boring. I hope it’s option one.
