This is going to be short and sweet because Thursday night TV is crazy and I hit Fast Forward! through most of the show. Did you see the awesomeness that was TVD last night? No? Read the recap here.
The open is, of course, a giant group number that is obviously lip-synced. How do we know? LeRoy Bell doesn’t get his mic up in time and yet we hear his voice loud and clear. The camera doesn’t go back to him the rest of the number. They all looked pretty uncomfortable. We are then subjected to a rehash of the night before and some crappy singer that stars in the Pepsi commercials. I wouldn’t know him as I have DVR and haven’t watched a commercial in 5 years.
They, of course, had to draw out elimination. I swear, at one point Steve paused for five minutes and then went to commercial before revealing anything. There is creating suspense and then there is stupidity. The X Factor producers have stupidity in spades. Everyone is safe except for two of Paula’s groups. Stereo Hogzz and InTENsity must, in the immortal words of RuPaul, “SING for your LIFE.” Stereo Hogzz have been better and the InTENsity kids looked like they were going to cry the entire time. The judges decide who goes home and Nicole, Paula, and L.A. vote out InTENsity. Now it’s time to work on that Disney show, kids.
Were you surprised by the outcome? Did you want Lakoda Rayne to go as badly as I did? Was leaving Stacy Francis as the last to be safe a ploy to get her more votes next week? COMMENTS!!
