Castle. Not a “but”. A “however”.

Alright, guys, we’re at that point again.  While I like Castle and enjoy watching it (and I LOVED Castle telling the Captain, “That was AWESOME!  Awesome!” this week), I have a hard time finding new things to write about a crime procedural and I’m right on the edge of not regularly covering it anymore.  But I love you guys and I want you to be happy, so if anyone has strong feelings about keeping it on my posting lineup, now is the time to share in the comments.  For those of you quieter types, I put it to a poll:

    I definitely love Castle, and it’s appointment TV for me! But I understand it’s a heck of a lot of work to cover it on a weekly basis! And it’s one of those shows that doesn’t ever seem to go on break! So … I think you should do what YOU want to do. Although, I am biased, and I do love reading and responding to recaps, so …

    I totally understand, Kimber, and I like it too. And it’s not really hard work, or even that time consuming to cover it, since I watch it anyway. (And you’re SO right about it never going on a break!) But it’s just like … I feel like I’m saying the same thing about it all the time. Although I was sort of feeling that way with Modern Family, and then Scott took it over and made it awesome, so maybe it’s just me. :) It’s a tie vote right now, so hopefully as the day goes on it’ll start to lean one way or the other. I could still be swayed either way.

    Unfortunately I DVR Castle so I don’t get to read your recaps right away. Yet, that doesn’t mean I don’t love reading them. It’s ok to give us just a paragraph talking about your favorite points and favorite lines. I just love to see your commentary on all the shows we both watch. So I vote do what you want to do. :)

    I actually like the paragraph idea pretty well. I was leaning toward just posting when there was something exciting to say, but this would be a nice way to let everyone chat about it if they wanted to and to hit the highlights. Good thinking, Strunkette!
