Biggest Loser. WTF, Allie?

The unknowns are wrapping things up with Cara and Brett at the other ranch. The pressure of returning to the regular ranch builds and Q gets up in Rulon Mouge’s grill. I can tell you one dude on the show that I would not mess with, and it is Rulon Mouge. Cara is obviously not as skilled as Jillian with the deeper psychological issues. Q is being a dick by walking away without telling anyone. Jillian would have figured out why he was walking away. Cara just yelled and yelled. Disappointing all around.

On some style notes:

  • What’s up with Bob’s Hitler mustache?
  • And Allie’s got little fatty triangles poking out of the armpits of her dress. Ugh. Check ‘em out:

So we are going to get a weigh in right here at the beginning. The Green team has just gotten back from the CBs. This will be the last split up weigh in before the CBs join the BJs. It boils down to the Blue team vs the Orange/Black temporary combination. As I mentioned last week though, Don from the Black team has 9lbs sandbagged after his water chugging spectacle with his brother. However, he certainly didn’t take advantage of it and he and Irene each gain 6lbs. Don is a dickhead, just like his brother. Need I mention the thousands of people who tried out and didn’t make it? Yes. Yes I do.

For the vote, they don’t even bother with deliberation. Allie just takes a show of hands and boots his fat ass out the door. Bummer, a nickname like the Double Ds doesn’t come along everyday.

The CBs head back to the ranch and it is amazing how much of a difference there has been just over the four weeks since they left. The BJs are scared.

First workouts with the CBs at the ranch. Lots of people eyeing each other down. I’m hoping for a fight to break out. I don’t even think the trainers were in the same room at any point in the episode. Weird.

The challenge for today will be separate for the CBs and the BJs. The CBs’ challenge is to put weighted plates on their opponents’ platforms. If a platform gets 500lbs, that team is out of running for the prize: immunity. Yellow had a killer strategy. While no one was putting weight on their platform, they were handing out their 5 and 10 pounders. Once it got down to the Gray and Yellow team, Gray was running back and forth with their 5 and 10 pounders while Yellow was doing 35 and 45 pounders. It pays off handsomely and Yellow wins by about two steps, grabbing immunity.

Oh my god. Now Allie is wearing a Michael Jackson jacket. WTF? I should just make a feature called “WTF Allie?” Note the glove added for dramatic effect and Comic Sans used for comedic effect.

The BJs have a very different challenge. If they lose more than they did last week (48lbs), they all get immunity. Sounds like a weenie challenge given the amount of weight gained by the Double Ds (18 pounds!). It comes down to Art and Jesse losing 1lb. They pull it off and the BJs get immunity.

The CBs will have someone going home. I’ll skip the boringness and tell you that Larialmy and Q (the Red team) can’t pull it off and they are on the chopping block.

During Red pleading their case for who goes home, they state that they agreed that Larialmy would go home and Q would stay. Q has been such a baby and Larialmy is totally falling on the sword. This sucks because they need to dump that dead-weight Q but Red said their preference. Every one of the votes is for Larialmy but every one of the voters says they wanted to send Q home, as they should have. Larialmy looks miserable the whole time. How shitty is that?

In the end, Larialmy had done just about meh at home, as has the other half of the Double Ds.

So, anyone feel totally thrown off this week by the triple weigh in? Too much tweaking this season with the four trainers and two ranches? What do you want to see to get back in the Biggest Loser groove? I’m at a loss so please share in the comments.

I am guessing I’ll get in TBL groove once the numbers get a little lower. I always am a little overwhelmed when there are a ton of chunkers on the show. TOo many to keep up with.

Agreed. I’m thinking Top Ten is when things really get interesting. There really hasn’t been a hateable contestant this season either. We need a Vicki.
